“Africa as a continent is changing, and so are the economies that make it up. Millennials are looking for the latest entertainment concepts and want to have the best entertainment destinations in their country. Their tastes and preferences change every day and they want to be at the forefront of the latest immersive entertainment concepts. Along with this change in behavior, they also need engaging and immersive experiences to sustain their appetite for entertainment. This has given rise to new game concepts such as virtual reality and now they are more engaged by robots that can serve them food and drink. DEAL 2022 is one such trade show that will help African operators meet this growing demand,” said Sharif Rahman, CEO of Stand Expo Morocco exhibition stand contractor in Casablanca and Marrakech.

With over 300 exhibitors from over 45 countries, DEAL 2022 is poised to bring together industry leaders and showcase concepts developed with today’s fast-changing generation demands.

“Africa’s population is expected to reach 2.3 billion by 2050. Unlike the rest of the world, however, its booming population is getting younger. Experts believe that the next big breakthrough for the entertainment and leisure industry, especially in the African region, will be driven by virtual reality technology. Several DEAL 2022 exhibitors from around the world would present a plethora of concepts for African FECs and amusement operators to choose from. Soon, theme park enthusiasts outfitted with VR accessories will enter worlds that are literally impossible to recreate,” Mr. Rahman added.

The CEO of IEC further stated, “This is a great business opportunity for shopping center owners, property developers and other stakeholders in Africa, who are planning to start or grow their unique projects. integrated into a play/entertainment area. DEAL 2022 will provide the right platform to create a win-win situation for exhibitors, visitors and end consumers who will experience these amazing concepts.

Commenting on the growth of virtual reality concepts, Mr. Rahman said, “Today, the entertainment aspect is an integral part of any power center. The main reason is to increase foot traffic and eventually increase sales. African stakeholders who visit DEAL can also visit VR parks in UAE to know the potential and also to know how they are increasing their revenue. The installation can stay the same, however, the software and games need to be upgraded and changed, which is not as expensive as changing the whole inside of the installation. In Dubai, there are many options for virtual reality based rides in Virtual Worlds, Magic Planet among others, an exclusive VR park in the Dubai Mall has changed the face of entertainment in the city”.

DEAL 2022 will take place during the calendar months of the mega World EXPO 2020 Dubai, which is scheduled between 1st from October 31 and 31, 2021st March 2022. DEAL show organizers urge participating exhibitors to plan their travel in advance to also attend this multi-billion dollar event.
